Canadian hero Ambassador Ken Taylor dies at 81

It is with deep sadness that I report the passing of Ambassador Ken Taylor at 81. CTV News report with video. Global News report (with video).

As reported in an 2013 post, when asked about the Oscar-nominated film, Argo, about a daring rescue during the Iranian hostage crisis, president Jimmy Carter said,

“And the main hero, in my opinion, was Ken Taylor, who was the Canadian ambassador who orchestrated the entire process.”
