Toyota President Akio Toyoda to visit China on Monday

An excerpt from AP,

“Toyota President Akio Toyoda will speak in Beijing on Monday about the company’s recent quality woes, Toyota said Sunday, in an effort to reassure consumers in the world’s biggest auto market.

Toyoda, who testified at a U.S. Congressional hearing last week about the spate of global recalls plaguing Toyota Motor Corp., will speak to reporters at a Beijing hotel, company spokeswoman Ririko Takeuchi said.”

Toyota should have came forward with a full disclosure. Instead of waiting for a huge media blitz and tons of public pressure. I never seen so many car companies having recalls all at the same time. I had no idea my car was affected until I searched on [editor: the internet] and found I had a bad Anti Lock control unit on my 2008 Pontiac G8 , So be careful

    Thanks for leaving your comment.

While I don’t know about what types of cars are affected (there seems to be many), it makes sense to check and see if your car is affected if you are worried.
