iPhone in Canada? Well, not so fast.

[via Engadget] I previously blogged about the iPhone Trademark issue in US here and here. Which ultimately Apple struck a deal with Cisco and used the name. And looks like the same game is going to be played in Canada. I quickly consulted the Canadian Trademark database and trademark application number 0875335 confirmed the filed date of 1998-04-16.

Thinking about it, I think Steve Jobs must have a thing with using someone else’s trademarks, remember the original famous/infamous Apple Corps v. Apple Computer trademark case? I don’t think Steve doesn’t learn, I think he just doesn’t care or care so much that he is willing to pay!
