Dove’s “Evolution” Wins Film Grand Prix

Congrats to Dove for its “Evolution” in winning the Film Grand Prix. Here is “Evolution“,

As I blogged last November in “Perfect Beauty? – Campaign For Real Beauty” (emphasis new),

I can sympathize with the girls and women that struggle to achieve the impossible ideal image of a perfect woman as presented by the media. The associated US and Canadian websites seem to be powerful tools. And these sites seem to go much further than simply ads (check out the comments sections). Great job to the creative team of Ogilvy & Mather, Toronto and also its client, the Unilever brand Dove, in taking the risk & giving this wonderful ad campaign a chance.

A great idea, wonderful execution, timing, and some luck created this viral video. It is not easy but we now have the tool and capability to do it. What are you waiting for?
