HKG (VHHH) airport RFID Tag

A friend who knows explained to me: The HKG airport (香港國際機場 – 赤鱲角機場) simply has no additional space left to expand to handle the increasing number of luggages. (note: limited space is problem at most airport these days.) So the overriding rationale in using RFID technologies was to increase handling capacity within the limited HKG airport physical space.
