Internet Videos that changed me in 2007

Looking back at 2007, I have learned some very important lessons by watching videos available on the Internet. Here are some of these videos in a semi-random order (except the first one which is on the absolute top of my list),

  1. Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams” (Prof. Randy Pausch, who is dying from pancreatic cancer, gave his last lecture at the University on Sept. 18, 2007) – “Brick walls let us show our dedications.
  2. Deadwood creator at MIT World
  3. PBS News War
  4. Warren Buffett talks to MBA students – the lessons in this video is much wider than the title implies
  5. Steve Jobs Stanford Commencement Speech – new to me in 2007
  6. Lee Iacocca – Where Have All the Leaders Gone?
  7. Michael Crichton chat about his new book “Next” with Charlie Rose – Some really shocking Medical stuff. (BTW, Crichton actually has an MD from Harvard!)
  8. Dixie Chicks – “I’m ready to make nice!” – When it seemed the whole country was against them, they stood their ground.
  9. My 2007 New Year Wish – Peace on earth which a wish that I will make again as we are deeper in war and conflict than ever. We should also remember that Darfur is still burning with hate and genocide.
