- Stephen King mistaken for vandal in Australian bookstore – Cute story.
- Globe and Mail’s embarrassing feature story on terror going digital with Canadian help. shows the lack of some basic understanding about domain name registration. [via Michael Geist] The matter of fact is that even if there is a contact address, etc. in the registration, it doesn’t have to be true information. To me, anonymous protection is just a way for the registrants to over charge good citizens who want to protect their privacy because we are the ones who would enter valid information. By the way, who use Register.com these days? For cheap and reliable services, I recommend Godaddy.com. (They don’t pay me to say this but I like their service.)
