Oscars – 奧斯卡金像獎

Here is another article from my Chinese monthly newspaper column about “user generated media” (自製傳媒). The editor special requested an article about Oscars as he knows that I am a filmmaker, so I wrote something about movies that won Oscars this year and provide a link to my first experience of Live Blogging.

奧斯卡金像獎 (originally published March 2007)

我是個標準奧斯卡金像獎迷，每年一定會看。The Departed 《無間道風雲》奪得最佳電影、導演、剪接及改編劇本４個獎定必令到香港及中國人都十分高興。原因是它是改編自香港電影《無間道》而成的。

今年因為我有了網誌 (blog)，所以甚至寫了幾篇網誌文章談奧斯卡，而當晚我還學別人 Live Blog (當場看便當場寫 Blog 文章)。讀者可以在以下網址閱讀我即場寫的文章，http://kempton.ideasRevolution.com/2007/02/25/oscars/。

今 次得獎的電影中，其實應是最佳紀錄片 An Inconvenient Truth 《絕望真相》對各國的人最有影響力。它的網址 www.climatecrisis.net亦有很多不同資料及工具以便人們可以開始面對 Global Warmng (全球溫室化)這個大問題。而它的電影創作公司 Participant Productions更相信 “Changing the world one story at a time” (以說故事形式改變世界！)。

到現時為止 Participant 拍的每一部片都有叫人參加或組織運動(Take Action)。這種拍電影去加速世界改變的創作方法在未有互聯網 (internet)前的時候便那麼方便了。

從網誌中看到現已有 136,624篇文章談《絕望真相》了。誰說電影不可以改變世界？
