- More on Powerset, the secretive search engine (Matt wrote this very insightful entry about Powerset which may or may not be a Google-killer but it does seem to have some real smart people involved in the Search space. Definitely worth checking out.)
- Location Awareness in Hardware. (Think your digital camera linked up with a GPS receiver. And all your digital pix are all geo-tagged. Won’t it be fun? But, wait a minute, how about lose of privacy? Now, think GPS or cell-location chip on your mobile. Is that a good thing or bad thing?)
- The data mining dilemma (See how $20 and some smart actually bought the medical record of a former governor of Massachusetts!!! How do you guard your supposed privacy? This article and the video is a bit technical. For those who can follow it, what was shown was quite a nightmare-ish senario that is happening now. )
- Netflix’s personalization contest (Netflix is offerring a $1 million prize for anyone that can make them 10% better.)
