Meet Webcameron – David Cameron (and Nixon, Clinton, and Bush 43rd)

I  know nothing about David Cameron other than he is the current UK Conservative Party Leader and he is a blogger. What I do know from history is that TV had defined a new generation of politicians, possible starting with JFK in his dark suit debating on TV with Nixon in a grey (?) suit in front of a grey background.

My point is that blogging, YouTube, GoogleVideo and other new tools are going to change the world of politics. Sometimes it is slow for politician to learn but we will see. Now, lets keep our fingers crossed that semi-decent political leaders will rise from this process. If not, we, the voters, can always use blogs, YouTube, GoogleVideo and other new tools to keep these political leaders honest or even strongly encourage them to leave early in the President Nixon kind of way.

I wonder what would have happened if President Nixon had to face bloggers, YouTube, GoogleVideo and other new tools? How about President Clinton? And, of course, President George W. Bush is facing a world of bloggers, YouTube, GoogleVideo, so why is he still around? May be my theory doesn’t work and the world is still falling apart after all.

As a demonstration of what I am talking about here. I will next blog about President Clinton’s moment in Fox.
